A week has passed since we were rocked with the horrors from
Newtown. I cannot relate or begin to imagine...but confusion still grips at my
insides. There are times tears still fall for those sweet souls. I don't
understand. At all.
If
nothing else, this tragedy has solidified the choices I've made over
these past few months to live online less and be in the world more.
Choosing to see what really matters. Making time for real life joys,
because life is...transient.
I still fret too much over the small details of our new home, but some of the details,
like the activities filling our advent calendar, make our days; though sharing specifics
doesn't seem all that necessary or relevant now.
You will still find me exploring the craft of my Instagram feed, but for the most part, I'm staying unplugged. If I do not post again until after the holidays, have the merriest, happiest, most cherished season. May you actively fill your days with love and small acts of kindness. xo.
