When I bent to adjust my shoelaces at Fort Point, I saw a harsh rigidness softened by the sway of a chain. The moodiness matched the prison in the distance, cradled by the chain on the shore. Freedom.
Black & whites don't come naturally to me. I wish they did. From what I'm told (from Dave, who knows much more than I do about photography, "less is more".) I was thrilled when this jumped out at me. I am hoping more B&W inspiration will find me, & I can play around with this style a lot more.
OTHER PHOTOS FROM OUR SAN FRANCISCO TRIP:
- I have a habit of taking photos while driving or passengering.
- I gathered the courage to ask a stranger on the street if I could take a photo of his awesome orange boots.
- Photographs of our stay at Triton Hotel. I am so happy with how these turned out.
